Saudi aid agency KSrelief’s latest humanitarian operations involved delivering food to tens of thousands of people in three countries amid ongoing crises.

KSrelief’s kitchen provided 25,000 hot meals across central and southern Gaza, benefiting thousands of vulnerable families. The agency also distributed 1,126 food baskets in Khan Younis, benefiting 6,756 Palestinians affected by the conflict.

Meanwhile, the agency distributed 800 food baskets to vulnerable groups in Rif Dimashq and 500 blankets in Deir ez-Zor in the Syrian Arab Republic, benefiting hundreds of families.

In Yemen’s Marib governorate, KSrelief distributed 5,040 food baskets to vulnerable families as part of the second phase of the emergency food response project.

Marib Deputy Governor Abd-Rabbu Miftah praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts through KSrelief, highlighting its role in supporting food security and alleviating the suffering of displaced persons and host communities.

Since its establishment in 2015, KSrelief, in partnership with nearly 349 organizations, has implemented more than 4,260 projects in 113 countries, with a total value exceeding $8.4 billion.

These programs cover food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, camp coordination, education, protection and emergency relief.(SPA)
