Nestlé’s journey in Saudi Arabia began over five decades ago, culminating in a major milestone in 2011 when it became the first international corporation to establish direct sales and distribution operations in the Kingdom.This strategic move marked a new era in Nestlé commitment to the region, enabling the company to establish a stronger presence and better serve the local market.
Today, Nestlé Saudi Arabia operates with a well-established infrastructure, including 12 offices and 7 water factories spread across the Kingdom. This extensive network has led to the creation of over 5,000 jobs, showcasing Nestlé’s commitment to driving employment and economic growth in the region. Additionally, the company has built strong ties with more than 2,800 local suppliers, which not only boosts local industries but also fosters a sustainable supply chain.
The company’s focus extends beyond distribution; it has become a key player in local manufacturing, producing a range of dairy and confectionery products domestically. Serving more than 23,000 retail outlets throughout Saudi Arabia, Nestlé has solidified its role as a cornerstone in the country’s food and beverage sector.
Looking ahead, Nestlé has announced an ambitious investment plan of SAR 7 billion over the next decade. This plan is set to include the development of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, as well as investment in research and development initiatives. The goal is to enhance local production capabilities, drive innovation, and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which focuses on economic diversification and sustainable development.
