Major Applications
- Crude Oil Mining & drilling water (Oil extracting industry) – as oxygen scavenger.
- Water treatment industry – as to remove dissolved oxygen.
- In Food Industry for manufacture of caramel colour, and sugar industry to assure sterile
conditions in diffusion and to decolorize thin juices.
- In Mining industry as floating agent or in metal refining (copper recovery) as reducing agent.
- In Chemical industries in the synthesis of dye intermediates, surfactants, pesticides, herbicides, and others

Storage
- Store in ventilated dry area and under shed.
- Keep containers closed when not use, solution is acidic and oxidize when contact with air & water.
- Shelf life: 13 Months.

2. pH @ 25°C (As it is) : 4.5 – 5.5
3. Assay as NH4HSO3 : 65 ± 2%
4. Assay as SO2 : 42 ± 1.5%
5. Nickel Content : 30 PPM Min.
6. Density @25°C : 1.352 – 1.420 gm/cm3
7. Iron as Fe : 5.0 PPM Max.
