SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE 29%
SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE 29%
PRODUCTION PROCESS TECHNOLOGY
SLS is a Sodium lauryl sulfate 29 % produced from the sulfation of fatty alcohol via SO3 process. SLS, 29 % Active is an anionic surfactant providing excellent foaming and viscosity characteristics. SLS is preserved with excess alkalinity, which allows the formulator flexibility when choosing a preservative for their finished formulation.
IDENTIFICATION
CAS number: 68585-47-7
FUNCTIONS
Foam Booster, Emulsifier, wetting Agent.
MARKET AND APPLICATION
- SLS can be utilized in personal care, detergent formulations, Home Care, Institutional and Industrial Cleaning, Vehicle Care, Agricultural Solutions such as shampoos, hand soaps, bath products, liquid dishwashing, liquid laundry detergents, fine fabric washes, Hard Surface Cleaners – Dilutable & Ready to Use, Tank Mix Adjuvants (in pesticide or herbicide spray tank), Kitchen Cleaners, Wettable Powders, Water Dispersible Granules
- SLS can be used for formulations that are sensitive to levels of inorganic salts and free oil.

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate 2EO
PRODUCTION PROCESS TECHNOLOGY
SLES 2 EO is an aqueous concentrated 70 % active sodium lauryl ether sulfate derived from fatty alcohols, Description ethoxylated to an average of two moles, and sulfated Ethoxylated Lauryl Alcohol via continuous SO 3 process. SLES 2 EO is anionic surfactant, flowable paste, and is buffered with carbonate. SLES 2 EO is an excellent foamer regardless of water hardness. SLES 2 EO provides improved mildness over sodium lauryl sulfate without losing critical performance attributes, such as foaming and viscosity response. Its low skin irritation properties make it ideal for mild cleansing products. Products based on SLES 2 EO can be thickened with salts, betaines, or
amides, with the latter two also serving to enhance the foam. SLES 2 EO is compatible with familiar used opacifying and pearlizing agents, the formulator is afforded flexibility in developing the favorite product appearance.
