Sadeer Contracting expands to KSA to boost its tourism sector

AstroLabs, a leading business expansion platform in the Gulf, has expanded Sadeer General Trading & Contracting Company to Saudi Arabia to drive development in the kingdom’s tourism and manufacturing sectors. This strategic collaboration arrives at an opportune moment, with Saudi Arabia intensifying its manufacturing and tourism projects as a core part of its ambitious national vision.
Established in 1973 and recognised as one of the oldest market leaders in Kuwait, Sadeer has a rich legacy of excellence in the fields of manufacturing, design and interior finishing, particularly in bespoke interior fit-out works.
With a dedicated factory in Kuwait, the company boasts a rich history of regional expertise, offering a suite of specialised products, backed by a seasoned engineering team and an advanced production facility.
Tourism infrastructure
This expansion is strategically timed to coincide with Saudi Arabia’s accelerated efforts to enhance its tourism infrastructure. Recently, Saudi Arabia announced the achievement of Vision 2030’s initial tourist target of 100 million visitors and revised the aim to welcome 150 million visitors.
Sadeer’s expertise in creating premium environments for hotels, resorts, and entertainment venues is expected to significantly contribute to the Kingdom’s objective of becoming a global tourism hub.
Mahdi El-Mubarak, Deputy General Manager at Sadeer said: “Our expertise, honed over decades, will be instrumental in delivering projects that embody innovation, sustainability, and superior craftsmanship.”
“During this transformative time for the kingdom, we’re excited to support Sadeer with their growth strategies in Saudi Arabia, strengthening our commitment to enriching the kingdom’s tourism sector, and aiding in the diversification of its economy and the realisation of its long-term developmental objectives,” said Alex Nicholls, Director of Expansion at AstroLabs.
